For allowing me to casually parallel park in 5 - 10 inches of snow on a hill everyone else is stuck on / can't park their cars.

Due to my good fortune, I felt I should help push someone less fortunate in their parking spot, it was a Honda Accord.

My montero is a tank when you put in 4WD. Literally. Snow, ice, nothing stops it. 4WD FTW

All those other people are still swearing by "snow tires are just a money grab"

Yeah, some people definitely need to invest in snow tires. Sometimes I still think i should.

I'm running Conti DWS all seasons on my 6S, they are a damn good all season, especially in the wet, but certainly can't compare to a true winter tire. Only reason I didn't put winters on it was because I want to invest as little as possible/needed in this car. It is just stop gap car for me.
Next vehicle will likely be a 4wd 2015 Colorado, I'll put winters on it. General Altimax winters are a damn good price and damn good tire, and even aluminum rims can be had for cheap now.

oh nice, if I end up with another vehicle that isn't awd and I drive it in the winter, I'd definitely be doing the same. I suppose on a truck even if it has 4wd it is worth it. Is the 4wd in trucks still fairly top speed limited these days?
